Kallisti Thira Hotel 
Description: The Kallisti Thira Hotel is one of the most comfortable hotels in Fira Town, the island’s capital perched precariously on the volcanic cliff. It is a few minutes’ walk from both the centre and the caldera rim. The hotel is built in Cycladic style and rooms are individually designed with flair and taste. Standard rooms possess air-conditioning, satellite TV, safety deposit box, hairdryer, mini-bar, bathroom with bath or shower, and balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens. Superior rooms are larger and very elegantly furnished with king-sized bed and various comfort amenities. The hotel also has some Junior Suites (bedroom, living room with two sofa-beds for children, sea view balcony) and a Honeymoon Suite with sea views and a small private pool. In the gardens is a large freshwater pool (17m x 12m) with jacuzzi and an adjacent pool bar and restaurant (private dining can be arranged). Although not a large impersonal hotel, the facilities and standards here are high. It also has an excellent location, being central but a little away from the hubbub (Fira is usually busy) – countless shops, bars, cafιs and restaurants, many on the cliff’s edge with views directly over the caldera, are only a short walk away.
